She is called rowdy, she is beautiful, she is loved and hated. She has the title and will fight for the second time in almost eight weeks. This is Ronda Rousey and now your have a opportunity to see her in action in this video.
It was announced at the UFC 168 post-fight press conference that Rousey will defend the UFC Women's Bantamweight Championship against fellow Olympic Medalist and undefeated fighter, Sara McMann in the main event at UFC 170 on February 22, 2014
This will be a fight different, first because this is a woman's fight and second both of they have an olympic medal to show for their future grandsons. This is not a title fight, but a moment to remember for a long time. I am not right, but I don't remember of fights between two olympians medalists in different class of martial arts. Besides there is a considerable difference of age, what can be consider one more atractive point about this fight.
As Rousey has said, they know what it represents for the sport and it will be amazing:
"I think it's an amazing matchup, its good not just for women's MMA but MMA in general. Two undefeated fighters, both not just Olympians but medalists, all those factors combined. Olympic medalists undefeated for the championship, we've never had that many factors come together, so yeah, it just really speaks to how far MMA has come in general."
