In his last interview, Daniel Cormier has said that if him win the next fight, he could get a title fight. In UFC's world, many things are possible, but the issue is: Is he able to get it so fast in this new class?
Like he said, he knows that the next opponent for the shot is Gustafsson, but he hopes to show a good work and get it.: "I think some things have to happen, with Gustafsson fighting as well as he did last time he probably will get a championship fight first," Cormier said. "But if I fight well enough, anything can happen. Nothing is promised in the UFC. If I fight well enough I hope to get the title shot."
It's early to get any conclusion, but is time to think about and wait for another chapters.
