What Henderson said about Belfort and TRT?

In a interview for The MMA Hour , Dan Henderson said it about Belfort and TRT:

“I don't know, I'm not going to point fingers and say things I have no idea about,” he said. “Obviously [Vitor] wouldn’t be able to use TRT here, but I just feel like he’s definitely…his body has changed a little bit in the last couple of years that he hasn’t been fighting here.

“There’s reasons for that. He’s been fighting a long time and we’ve seen his body change a couple of different times. It is what it is. At the same time, I have no idea, he could be doing everything right by the book and the way he should. Which is what he should have done years ago, as well.”

What become it more interesting is that Henderson does the same treatment that Belfort does. Maybe Henderson is a little upset about the last fight, but it was not good to say about someone that does the same treatment. The fact is that who do this treatment is constantly tested.

Whe he was questioned about if Belfor will win, he said:

“Vitor is very capable of beating anybody in those first few minutes of a fight because he is dangerous and he hits hard,” Henderson said. “But, I just -- I don't see it happening, especially if the fight is in the U.S.”

Dos Santos vs Overeem. Is it possible?

Luiz Dorea, Junior Dos Santos head coach, has said for some media that they hope that the next Cigano's fight be with Overeem. "The UFC has great athletes, the best, but a fight that we wanted to see is against Overeem," he said. "It was expected to happen before and didn’t. But they have great fighters in the UFC, so anything can happen. He will fight anyone they want."

The match-up, planned twice by the promotion in the past, was cancelled after Overeem failed a pre-fight drug test at UFC 146 in 2012, and injured a year later, prior to UFC 160.
It will be good for Dos Santos, because is a great fight and because Overeem is in a bad moment inside de octagon. He has lost the last two fights, with Antonio Silva and Travis Bourne, and need to win his next fight agains Mir to keep fighting in UFC. This last poin is not official, but there is some talks that saying that this fight is an final test for Overeem and he needs to win to keep his contract with UFC.

On the other hand, if Overeem defeat Mir with a great win, he can come back to his shape and come back to be the champ that we know. But is early to bet in this, what we fans can do is hope that the fight between Mir and Overeem can be a great fight, cauuse this division need more emotions.
